This is an authentic Japanese Nintendo 64 release of ピカチュウげんきでちゅう (Pikachu Genki de Chu) — known outside Japan as Hey You, Pikachu! — directly sourced from Japan and part of an overseas collector acquisition. These Japanese N64 titles are extremely hot with collectors, especially original Japanese box variants with original retail stickers still attached.

This is the original Japanese release from 1998, featuring the iconic voice-interaction gameplay that requires the Nintendo 64 VRU (Voice Recognition Unit / microphone). The Japanese packaging artwork, text, and presentation are completely unique and highly desirable compared to the international release.

I had to travel overseas to obtain these games directly from a Japanese collector. The box still retains original Japanese retail price stickers in yen, adding to the authenticity and collector appeal.
