Here for sale is a pair of beautiful rare vintage spendor sp2 /2 speakers with spendor m50 amplifiers.
These are from a working studio and were regularly checked and serviced.
The amps and drivers are all in perfect working condition. The surrounds are nice and supple still and the cabinets are in good condition.
The midrange on these speakers is above and beyond most modern studio monitors. Class a/b spendor amplification and suberb detail from the very well regarded scanspeak tweeter. Which is used on other highly regarded models like the Proac 1sc.
There are signs of use as would be expected but are overall in good condition.
The amplifiers take an XLR input. If desired the amps can be removed and the speakers can be wired straight into any other amplifier.
They really don't make them like they used too. reviews on the sp2/2 speak for themselves.
These were originally from a BBC studio.
Speakers will be posted individually with heavy duty 5cm thick polystyrene and double walled boxes. Collection also available from stowmarket Suffolk or can deliver within an hour or so drive.
