Hello, This is Michael Secrest. This is the custom-made GT track frame that I used to set cycling World records from 1996 through 2011. In October 1996, I broke the 200 Hundred Mile, 12-Hour and 24-hour outdoor records at the L.A. Velodrome. 24-Hour of 532.74 miles
In 2006 at the indoor velodrome in L.A., I broke the 24-hour record with 534.75 miles. In 2007 I returned to L.A to break my 24-hour record with 535.86, along with the 200-mile and 12-hour records. In 2011, I returned to L.A. to break the 100-mile indoor record with a time of 3:46:16. That mark remains unbroken.
I, along with this bike, am the only person to have set World Records in both the outdoor and indoor velodromes in L.A.!
Here is a chance for a collector of cycling memorabilia to own a piece of history. The photo of me on the bike is of my 2006 24-hour record. Only the frame is for sale, but I do have the handlebars that I used. I can also sign the frame if the buyer wishes me to do so and to indicate where on the frame.
