Up for sale is my UNUSED 55cm CONDOR LAVORO Track Frame (RRP: £1099) with Condor Supremacy Carbon Seatpost (RRP: £119)
I originally built up this CONDOR LAVORO frame to use exclusively on the Lee Valley Velodrome, but it has literally NEVER been ridden! I’ve also included the Condor Supremacy carbon seatpost!
Unfortunately, recently diagnosed arthritis prevents me from continuing to ride track, so I've made the sad decision to strip the bike, and sell this beautiful frame.
PLEASE NOTE: The steerer tube HAS been cut down to fit a Deda Pista stem!
About the frame
The Lavoro is a well-rounded performance track frame. Custom-butted, superlight aluminium tubing is aggressively shaped for performance on the boards. Welded by hand to obtain maximum structural integrity, the Lavoro is designed to withstand the demands of track racing. Straight bladed tapered carbon forks provide stiffness for pin sharp handling. The Lavoro is an ideal starter track frame that is just as suitable for our pro riders. A proven competition ready machine. Condor Cycles is the official supplier to the London Velodrome and Lee Valley Velopark.
Stainless dropout insert
The Lavoro is designed to ensure the power you generate is delivered to the back wheel. A stainless steel plate is inserted at the rear dropout to provide better grip for the wheel track nuts and decrease wheel slippage. We use stainless steel because it offers an unrivalled strength to weight ratio.
Tapered head tube
The 1-1/8" to 1.5" tapered head tube is paired with our straight blade full carbon fork for pin sharp handling, and stiffness under braking and cornering, keeping you confident on the tightest of race courses.
Race-tuned performance aluminium
Race tuned, double-butted aluminium has been tested by our pro team and designed with performance as its goal. Each tube is custom shaped to provide the best balance of lightness and stiffness, as well as compliance to absorb road imperfections. Spending hours in the breakaway move is easy: it's down to your legs now.
Enhanced frame treatment
Once the frame has been welded and cleaned, it receives a light anodising treatment before being painted. This provides additional protection against corrosion, which combined with regular maintenance will help to keep your frame in good condition.
About the seatpost
The Condor Supremacy Carbon seat post utilises aircraft technology with 4 layers of carbon braid, bonded together to form ladder polymers. This achieves an incredible strength to weight ratio, enabling the Supremacy seat post to be extremely strong, yet also extremely lightweight. Combined with a monocoque construction, it gives the best comfort possible by distributing stresses whilst riding.
