I have owned these now very rare and superb speakers since 2023. A fully matched Pair (see PICS) they are in excellent cosmetic condition with just minor blemishes here and there not obtrusive and exceptional for their age. There are a few soft superficial indentations on one side (see pics) which I'm sure can be polished out with a little TLC. Full Demonstration available for your peace of mind.
One of the tweeters had failed shortly after purchase, so I sent them to Wilmslow Audio, who replaced the tweeters with new improved Scanspeak Tweeter units and upgraded the cross-overs with new capacitors etc. I had new chocolate brown fabric grille covers made and fitted with new Pro-Ac badges, so they are a very handsome pair of bookshelf speakers with awesome sonic signature and upgraded to last many years. I also replaced the foam surrounds that are known to break down over time with original stock genuine Pro-Ac High Density foams supplied by Falcon Acoustics.

The ProAc Super Tablette is a classic two-way, stand-mounted loudspeaker known for its exceptional midrange clarity and pinpoint imaging. Originally released in the 1980s, now rare, it evolved from the original Tablette to offer a flatter frequency response and improved power handling.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

Design: 2-way, ported cabinet (rear-ported).
Tweeter: 3/4" soft dome (ferrofluid-cooled).
Woofer: 4-inch (approx. 100-150mm) cone.
Frequency Response: 60Hz - 23,000 Hz or 70Hz - 20kHz.
Nominal Impedance: 8 ohms.
Sensitivity: 84dB - 86.5dB.
Recommended Amplifier: 10 to 100W or 80W capacity.
Dimensions: Approximately 10.5" (270mm) H x 6" (152mm) W x 9" (235mm) D.
Weight: Approx. 10 lbs (4.5 kg) each.
Features: Single-wire binding posts, real wood veneer, British design.
