The PS3, model number CECHJO3, is a black Sony PlayStation 3 home console with a 40GB storage capacity. It comes with one controller, seven games, and is also a Blu-Ray player. This unit is manufactured in China and is PAL region coded. It features HDMI connectivity and is compatible with Blu-Ray discs. The console offers a resolution of 1080p (FHD) perfect for gaming and entertainment, this bundle includes everything you need to enjoy hours of fun on your console.
Hardware: Equipped with a 40GB hard drive and an 80 nm RSX (Reality Synthesizer) graphics chip. Because it runs cooler and uses less power than the launch models, it is statistically less prone to the infamous "Yellow Light of Death" (YLOD) hardware failure. Backwards Compatibility: It does not have hardware-based PlayStation 2 backwards compatibility. It will only play PlayStation 1 discs and standard PS3 games. Homebrew & CFW: It is a highly desirable model for custom firmware (CFW) installation. Most CECHJ03 consoles feature a low enough factory firmware (OFW) to allow for easy jailbreaking. This console is undamaged but has surface scratches, controller comes with charging cable and is wireless. Power cable is supplied as is an HDMI cable (not pictured). The games are as shown in the photos, all have manuals with the exception of "Call of Duty", that game had 2 game discs inside instead of a manual, the spare game is "Black Ops". Popular games that surely will have instructions online if needed. I have tested it with a PS1 game and it plays it by creating a virtual memory card for the PS1 games. It also has that facility for PS2 games, which don't work for me, but there may be a workaround for an experienced hand! Will be around 5 kgs when packaged if not more!
