Ghostbusters Proton Pack Replica Genuine Parts Lights And Sounds

This Ghostbusters custom-made Proton Pack is modeled from the packs used in GB1, and features genuine parts, lights, and sounds!

I purchased this proton pack from an eBay seller many years ago. I don’t remember who it was, but he was an excellent prop maker. It is attached to a genuine Alice frame pack special ordered from China, and the entire pack is made from various materials including but not limited to: rubber, wood, ABS, fiberglass, plexiglass, plastics, copper, stainless steel, and various circuitry and wiring.

I have since added some of my own modifications, such as foam rubber on the back to dampen the rumbling from the idle sound, a few new labels, extra supports, adhesion to the battery cell, as well as distressing it a bit to make it look more “weathered” and “worn in”.

It does have working lights and sound and even plays the GB theme song, which is assigned to one of the switches on the neutrono wand. It also has a volume control lever near the battery pack on the back board.

It runs off a 12V DC lithium-ion battery pack, which is attached to the back. I’ve also included two additional battery packs as backups in case the one attached to the pack eventually goes out, so you’ll have plenty of spares!

The entire pack weighs approximately 40lbs
