Two Peerless 1920's Antique Radio interstage Transformers 3-1/2:1 & 5:1 Tested
For sale is this set of two Peerless brand interstage transformers salvaged from an old homebrew radio project. Included is a 3-1/2:1 and a 5:1 transformer. I tested these and got the following DC resistance readings:
3-1/2:1 Transformer:
- Primary = 316 Ohms
- Secondary = 1480 Ohms
- Primary to secondary = Infinite Ohms (no shorts)
- Primary to case = Infinite Ohms (no shorts)
- Secondary to case = Infinite Ohms (no shorts)
5:1 Transformer:
- Primary = 247 Ohms
- Secondary = 1573 Ohms
- Primary to secondary = Infinite Ohms (no shorts)
- Primary to case = Infinite Ohms (no shorts)
- Secondary to case = Infinite Ohms (no shorts)
Mounting holes centers are on 2" X 1-1/8" rectangle. Overall height of transformers is 3".
Transformers are in very good mechanical condition with no issues. Both have very nice original green paint, one still retains almost 100% of its original decals, the other shows significant loss of decals.
