Post WW2 British Army 1949 Pattern Battledress Blouse

The label states Size 8 but this has been adjusted - please see below

Royal Artillery Shoulder Titles

In good original condition with War Department Broad Arrow stamp

Label states Waist 32"/ 33"

But Waist measures 40"

Chest measures - 42"

A triangle section has been added into the back of the house blouse with new pouch to give the user a large size. This could be reversed if required by taking out the panel. This jacket appears to be original with the exception of the additional panel and possibly modern shoulder titles and patches. The jacket was previously owned by a fifth company for May so may well have adjusted for a specific role however the adjustments have been done to a very high standard.

Inside arm from under armpit to base of cuff measures - 18"

Shoulder seam to shoulder seam in a straight line across the back measures - 16"

Drop (back) from base of collar to the base of hem measures - 20.5"
