Item Description

This is a beautifully detailed, vintage hand-carved wooden relief plaque depicting Jesus carrying the cross, accompanied by a Roman soldier and a kneeling woman. The bottom of the carving features the Greek inscription "ΕΥΛΟΓΗΜΕΝΗ ΣΥ ΕΝ ΓΥΝΑΙΞΙ" ("Blessed art thou among women").

It is a remarkable piece of religious artistry, clearly signed by the artist and dated 1966 in the bottom right corner. The back features a secure metal loop, making it ready to hang and display.
