I bought these 2 amps for my home theater- and my wife found a house she wants us to buy so...no home theater for me :(. I'm selling other brand new items due to the move. Look them up under my user name.

One thing these amps are especially great at is not compressing the outer range dynamics. They can go 1400 watts into 4 ohms without clipping. The most demanding speakers dazzle with this kind of current. I run a lesser mortal (700B3) on my current hungry Wilson Sasha2s and the improvement over my Audio Research VT130s Tube amp is stunning.

The Bryston 28B³ is a high-end, single-channel (mono) power amplifier and the flagship model in Bryston's Cubed Series. Designed for both audiophiles and professional audio systems, it delivers exceptional power and sonic precision. With 1000 watts into 8Ω (and up to 1800 watts into 4Ω), it can drive even the most demanding and inefficient loudspeakers with authority and control.

The amplifier features a fully convection-cooled design—no fans—ensuring silent operation, and is housed in a robust, machined aluminum chassis available in silver or black faceplates with 17" or 19" widths.

It includes both balanced XLR and single-ended RCA inputs, dual binding posts, and switchable gain (23dB or 29dB). The patented Salomie circuit and regulated power supplies contribute to its ultra-low distortion (<0.005%) and wide frequency response (<1Hz – 100kHz).

Bryston backs the 28B³ with a legendary 20-year warranty, underscoring its build quality and reliability.

Weighing 93 lbs. (42 kg), it combines brute power with musical finesse, praised for its natural, warm, and detailed sound across all volume levels.
