Altec Lansing 16 inch 921-8A full range speaker

Altec Lansing 16 inch  921-8A is in outstanding original condition.  Has been tested and is working normally.  This was pulled from a working Grason Stadler model 0162.  This driver spent its life lightly used in a speech audiometer diagnosing hearing issues.  Considered a full range speaker for guitar and musical instrument amplification.  Maximum outside diameter 16 1/4 inch, rated for up to 200 watts, frequency response uniform from 35-8000HZ, Sensitivity 101.5 db. This Driver Will Need the following Maintenance:  The adhesive on the voice coil vent hole screen has failed and the screen is loose under the aluminum alloy dust cover.  This screen keeps material from entering the voice coil chamber from the rear vent hole, and should be reattached before being put back in to service.  A close up of the detached screen/serial number is included in the pictures.  Surprisingly, the loose screen had no effect on sound reproduction.  I could not detect it until the driver was dismounted from its enclosure.  This screen could be pulled out through the rear vent and attached to the back of the speaker to serve the same function, if removing the dust cap was undesirable.  This speaker is heavy, at over 22 pounds, it will ship secured in a movement isolation container made of all new materials.  Ships USPS ground advantage, insured, to the continental U.S. only, no returns accepted.
