A Rare Matched Pair of fully restored 1959 Rogers Junior British 230 VOLT Valve Amplifiers.

Fully Restored 1959 Rogers Junior valve amplifiers

Produced by Rogers Developments (Electronics) in London, these units represent a peak in late-50s tube engineering.

Pristine British Engineering: Known for their robust output transformers and classic EL84-based design, providing a signature "sweet" and musical midrange.
1959 Specification: This particular year saw a spec bump to approximately 10–12W nominal (14W max) output, making them surprisingly capable for efficient modern or period-correct speakers.
Matched Performance: As a matched pair, these are ideal for a high-end mono-block stereo configuration, offering superior channel separation and a cohesive soundstage.

A Matched Pair of British Rogers Junior 1959 vintage valve amplifiers.

These amplifiers have been fully restored by a qualified audio technician.

They have had a major electrical and cosmetic restoration.

All capacitors and resistors have been replaced

Vintage New Old Stock valves have been fitted.

Steel base plates have been added

New power leads made.

The chassis has been repainted in the original colours.

All screw fittings have been replaced.

The amps have are rated at 14 watts output and have a push pull ultra-linear output .

The vintage valve compliment for each amp is:

EZ81 x 1 Philips Holland

EL84 x 2 Mullard Great Britain

ECC83 x 1 Philips Holland

The British transformers were made by Haddon UK and are similar to those also made by that company for the Leak TL12+ amp.

The plug in modules fitted to the back of the amp are to suit your speaker impedance.

There is a pair of each for 8 and 15 ohm speakers.
