A genuine piece of British hi-fi history. This Rogers HG88 Mk2 integrated valve amplifier has recently been professionally serviced by a specialist technician and is working beautifully.

The HG88 series represents classic British valve amplifier design from the golden era of hi-fi. These amplifiers are highly regarded for their warm, musical presentation and elegant simplicity, and are increasingly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts.

This amplifier has just been professionally serviced by a specialist technician and sounding lovely. (April 2026)

Vintage valve equipment should always be treated with care and understanding, but this recent service means the amplifier is now functioning as intended and ready to be enjoyed.

🔹 Condition

Cosmetically the amplifier presents well for its age. As expected with vintage equipment there are signs of age including light surface oxidation to parts of the chassis and general age-related wear.

The internal photographs included in the listing show the amplifier prior to its recent service and give buyers a clear view of the original construction and internal layout.

Overall it remains a very honest vintage example of a classic Rogers valve amplifier.

This amplifier will be packed extremely carefully due to its weight and the presence of valves. Valves will be removed and individually wrapped where appropriate and the amplifier will be securely double boxed with protective padding.
