Up for sale is a rare opportunity to own a legend: the SONOR Signature Series HLD-581RH (Horst Link Era). Known as one of the finest snare drums ever made, this 12-ply Beech wood shell provides an unparalleled heavy, warm, and precise sound. Please note this is a "Project" item with some component issues, but the core shell and the famous parallel action strainer remain functional.

[Important Condition Notes] ⚠️

• Snare Wire Guide Issue: As shown in Photo 20 (red circle), the protrusion that holds the snare wire tension is chipped. While it can be used with tape under high tension, we recommend a permanent weld repair. The original broken piece is not included.

• Non-Original Bolt: The bolt indicated in Photo 20 (blue circle) is a non-original hex socket bolt. A metric hex wrench is required for adjustment. The surrounding washers and springs remain original.

• Hardware: All 24 tension bolts are original, but 1 of the 24 washers is a replacement. Some surface rust is present on the washers.

• General Status: There are some pits and scratches on the shell and metal parts consistent with its age, but otherwise, it is in respectable condition. The parallel action strainer functions smoothly.

[Note to Buyer] No case or tuning key included. You will need a Sonor slotted key and a flat-head screwdriver for adjustment. Due to its vintage nature, please prioritize the photos for your final judgment.
