Up for sale is a rare, professional-grade drum: the TAMA Starclassic Performer 8" x 8" Tom. This is the early first-generation model manufactured in Japan between 1999 and 2003, featuring a premium shell made of Hokkaido Birch (8-ply, 6mm).

While modern 8-inch toms are typically 7" or 6" in depth, this is the rare 8x8 "Square Size". This specific depth produces a beautiful, lingering "toon" resonance and an open, melodic sustain that shallower shells simply cannot replicate. Its sound profile is reminiscent of the legendary Sonor Lite—offering a piano-like, musical pitch and incredible projection.
