Very hard to find Rockford model five three-quarter plate full key wind antique 18 size pocket Watch. Movement is a rare gilt gold 7 J key wind movement that is not a transition and has never had any parts for stem winding . Movement is not running but has a good balance and I think just needs cleaned. Dial is the original Rockford dial and looks nice but does have some edge chips and a hairline. Very nice hands and watch is key wind and set. Case is a very nice I believe original nickel silver case in good working condition and is in nice shape for its age. Please see pictures for more information and condition. Sold as is. Serial number 143300, circa 1882 making this watch over 140 years old. I have seen very few of the model five Rockford‘s let alone in the key wind and set variant.
