Antique Karl Faberge 14K Gold Brooch Flower Jade Amethyst Violets Bunch Diamonds

Offered here is a rare and exceptional Imperial 56 zolotnik (14K gold) figural brooch, attributed to the workshop of Karl Fabergé. This exquisite piece is designed as a bouquet of violets and represents the finest traditions of late Imperial jewelry craftsmanship.

Entirely handmade, the brooch is richly adorned with natural gemstones. The delicate violet blossoms are formed from carved amethyst petals, while the leaves are crafted from Imperial jade. The flower centers are set with sparkling natural diamonds, and the stems are fashioned from solid gold. The composition displays remarkable artistry, elegance, and attention to detail, creating a lifelike floral arrangement of extraordinary beauty.

The brooch is marked with the Imperial 56 gold standard and the maker's monogram “KF,” attributed to Karl Fabergé. Matching hallmark is also present on the pin. It is fitted with its original pin-back fastening and trombone clasp.

An important and highly collectible jewel, the violet has long been associated with faith, devotion, spiritual awareness, inspiration, modesty, and enduring love. Such floral creations were among the most admired artistic expressions of the Fabergé workshop.

The brooch was found at an estate sale in Paris. Unfortunately, little is known about its early history beyond its provenance from the estate of a world traveler and antiques collector. It is offered as an authentic antique piece and comes in the antique presentation box in which it was discovered.

Recently inspected by a professional jeweller to confirm the gold purity and the authenticity of the gemstones.
