Vintage Scott Windriver mountain bike frameset, believed to be late 1980s / early 1990s.

This is a great retro MTB / ATB project frame with the original SCOTT/Windriver decals and a Tange double-butted Cro-Mo tubeset decal. Nice green/blue colourway with white graphics.

Frame size is marked as 17.5” on the original size decal. Measurements are shown in the photos, with the top tube measuring approximately 22” and seat tube/frame size shown as 17.5”.

The frame is used and has age-related marks, chips, scratches and some surface corrosion in places, especially around the dropouts, cable guides, fork bosses and exposed fittings, as shown in the photos. It presents well overall and would make a nice base for a retro MTB, gravel, town, pub bike or restoration build.

Includes the frame, forks and headset/fitted parts shown in the photos.
