For Sale is one Pair of Zenith 49-1073 Woofers

These were pulled from a Zenith Z960 console, Zenith's flagship product from the "golden era" of HiFi in the 1960s.

Key Features:

Efficient (96.6dB @ 2.83v, 94.8dB @ 1W)
Super-smooth roll-off starting at 1.5kHz
Low distortion (<1% to 32Hz)

Zenith intended these woofers to operate without a low-pass crossover, so they designed them to have a silky-smooth roll off. They sound great used that way, or they can be easily use in a "woofer assisted full-range" or other multi-way configuration.

Based on their T/S Parameters, they would be best suited to infinite baffle application or some variation of open baffle.

I will send the buyer FRD and ZMA files.

Note: all my measurements represent my best honest effort. But I am an amateur measuring at home. I cannot and do not guarantee you will duplicate my results. They are provided as a rough guide only.
