(Yes I have another listing for one of these, I have several, and these are near identical)
Pentium 3 600MHz CPU - with slot terminator.
Upgradable to dual 1Ghz PIII or single 1.4Ghz Celeron PIII
Motherboard version 117 Rev A.
128MB RAM
Upgradable to 1GB
CD Drive - working
3.5" floppy drive - working
No Hard Drive - Will include working IDE cable.
All Plastics and Fans.
Does not include monitor or peripherals, just the computer tower.
All the plastics are in good condition without major cosmetic issues. Not perfect, some scuffs and scratches. See pictures for cosmetics. The pictures are of the computer you will receive.
It has the Prom firmware upgraded to 1.1005. That takes a bit of work to find the files and run through the floppy drive. With that upgrade onboard its been tested to boot fully into win2k. (I do have a harddrive with a full 320 setup of win2k, but I need it for the one I'm keeping.)
128MB of ram filling 1 of the 2 ram banks. Expandable to 1Gb with SGI 320 ram. I will have some for sale here soon as well which you can take it to 256Mb filling in the other bank of 6. Beware when shopping for memory on these things. There are 2 banks of RAM slots, 6 each. Each bank needs to be filled with 6 identical ram chips so be sure you're getting 6 at a time of the same part number if looking for additional ram.
Newly added to the offer: Will be putting up optional memory expansion to this as well. Hard to find altogether and working. Message me that you're interested in the combo and I can fill the other memory slots testing the added memory with the system before it leaves here. These can be choosy about what position their installed and I want to help get these to you in as running a state as I can. It has to go up as a separate add as Ebay doesn't allow options in this category.
CDrom and Floppy drive are tested to work. Fans are working, the 80mm are good to go. The 2 40mm fans would be good to replace eventually.
Ive held onto a small group of these for years now and need to reduce my stockpile. So its been cared for by someone who enjoys SGIs and wants to keep these around. If you enjoy SGIs too, help me give this a good home.
