This Vintage French bistro coffee cup and saucer has a rich orange design.
Brulots were used in bistros and cafes in the 1800's.
This brulot most likely was used in a high end bistro.
Very rare to find brulots, especially with saucers. Exceptional.
The thickness of the cup also kept the coffee warm. A small well
underneath the brulot was used for a drink like cognac after the coffee was
finished. A great slice of history in France. Perfect
as a house, birthday gift, etc., for those who love coffee and France!
Rare to find Art Nouveau cups that have lasted over 100 years!
