We try to assess the precise condition of the products as objectively as possible. Before selling, we manually check each item and assess its condition based on the following criteria. If the condition of an item ever differs from the condition described, we would appreciate it if you could get in touch with us before leaving a rating.

Books & Media:

new:

• Unused article in top condition

like new:

• Second-hand article that is in top condition
• Article shows no signs of wear
• Article is undamaged and has no markings or notes

very good:

• Second-hand article is in a very good condition
• Article hardly shows any traces of usage
• Pages are undamaged and contain no markings or notes
• Jacket or accessories are intact if included in the scope of delivery
• Jacket and accessories are intact where included in the scope of delivery. Jacket, cover and booklet may have just slight signs of usage but are not marked or annotated

good:

• Article is in a used but good condition
• There may be dog ears or traces of reading
• Jacket may in some cases be lacking
• In some cases, this may be a faulty copy in good condition
• Dedications / a few or small number of text markings may have been made
• CDs/DVDs may have scratches which, however, do not impair the function

acceptable:

• Article has clear signs of use
• Function of the article should not be impaired
• Notes, markings and underlinings are possible
• Supplements to the article show traces of use or are lacking (for example jacket, cover, booklet, sheath, box, instructions)

Editions (of books)

In certain instances, the edition of a book may differ from the edition stated. If this is the case, please get in touch with us before leaving a rating so that we can find an appropriate solution.

Shipping costs & delivery times

• What are my shipping options?

  The following applies to domestic shipping, no matter how many items you buy from us.

  You can choose between:
  1. standard shipping (books/goods/uninsured): EUR 0.00
  2. and premium shipping (shipping with a tracking number/insured shipping): EUR 2.99.

  The delivery time for orders being shipped as books/goods is 3-5 working days; in rare cases, though, delivery may take up to 14 working days.

  The following applies to international shipping:
  standard shipping (books/goods/uninsured): EUR 2.99

  Please note that it is not possible to collect your purchases in person, for logistical reasons.

• How can I buy multiple items?

  If we are combining multiple items into one order for you, please note that a maximum of 40 items applies. If you would like insured shipping, please indicate this when completing your order. Shipping costs EUR 2.99 per order.

• Do you deliver to parcel lockers, too?

  We can generally deliver to parcel lockers without issue. To ensure there are no problems with your delivery, when entering the address, please make sure you provide the correct number for the parcel locker and, crucially, your customer number for the parcel locker.

Returns

• What should I do if I want to return an item?

  We ask you to make a distinction between complaints and cancellations.

  Here is our returns procedure in the event of a cancellation:

  You have the right to cancel this contract within one month, without giving reasons for this. Please refer to the cancellation policy section of our GTCs for further information. In the case of a cancellation, please send the product back to us.

  Please note that we cannot accept shipments if the postage for them has not been paid.

  We will be able to correctly assign your return if our labels are still on the product or, alternatively, if you enclose a brief note with your order number.

  Here is our returns procedure in the event of a complaint:

  Please request your return via eBay. We will send you a link via eBay to a site where you can print off a postage-paid DHL parcel label. Once the item has been received, you will be refunded the purchase price.

  We will be able to correctly assign your return if our labels are still on the product or, alternatively, if you enclose a brief note with your order number.

  Please note that it may take up to 14 days for the transaction to be reversed, as the returned item will need to be tested and relisted.

• What conditions must be met for returns to be accepted?

  You can send your products back to us within one month of delivery, without giving reasons for this.

• Who bears the costs for returning the products?

  We cover the shipping costs in the case of complaints. In the event of a cancellation, you, the buyer, bear the shipping costs for the returned items.
