The Titan Motorsports Stage 3 Cylinder Head is our most popular cylinder head. It is suggested to run a built or prepped short block for this head package. This is the same cylinder head that was developed in the famous Titan Motorsports Pro Street Tire Supra and pushed it into the 7’s in the ¼ mile to be the fastest street Supra at the time. Since then, this head has even been used on pro chassis cars to run low 6’s.

We start by cleaning and pressure checking the core cylinder head, then remove the valve guides and do a full CNC port and polish, including CNC’ing the combustion chambers. We plug the additional water passages that are not needed for a performance head. The valve job is done on a Newen Contour machine that creates the optimal valve seal machining and angle. Then full re-assembly is done with Ferrea Guides, Ferrea Dual springs, Titanium retainers, seals, seats/locks and +1mm valves.

As an option, we can install Supertech shim-under buckets and Supertech shims. These buckets must be installed for the specific cam that you have, cams must be supplied or purchased and will be set and shimmed for each specific head. This allows you to safely rev above 9,000rpm if you so desire. The buckets are half the weight of the stock bucket and prevent the common shim spitting that can occur with high revving engines. These are the same exact buckets and shims we use in our pro car race engine program that has gone deep into the 5 second quarter mile times, as well as 3,000+ HP.

This cylinder head is a used Titan 2jz-gte Non VVTi CNC'd Stage 3 cylinder head that was refreshed.
