상품 설명
If no one decides to buy it I will continue to use it extensively.
Sega Nomad I bought that was heavily unkept. Neglected. Power dead. Near E-wasted. I replaced the screen with an LCD and coinciding composite feed board. The original power jack was corroded along with the power switch and the dimmer wheel was broken off and rattling inside the case; with the new LCD screen there will be no dimming ability.
The power jack was replaced with a wider jack port and wired in. Its placement was not meant to be pretty or presentable but functional. The power rail was modded and the regulator and diode removed.
THIS CONSOLE TAKE A STRICT 5VOLTS. There is no power switch you just plug right in…
It will come with a power wire adapter (also not pretty, made to look rough) that’s USB to Power pack that is pictured.I HAVE GOTTEN 14 HOURS OF GAME PLAY FROM THIS PARTICULAR POWER PACK.
I have played 100+ hours playing original cartridge’s like Shadowrun, Shinning Force 2, and phantasy Star 2/4; GAMES ARE NOT INCLUDED…
this console was built specifically for heavy RETRO gamers (RECAPPED), I replaced all capacitors that the system needed to run and left alone the capacitors that were utilized on the board for the original screen and backlight since there is no current running though these parts of the board.
I choose to play more on this machine then my Modded Sega Genesis 3. People can choose to play on whatever platform they like; choose to emulate… that’s cheaper and more efficient. But I choose to have the specific titles/cartridges. I HAVE “REFLOWN” ALL SOLDER JOINTS ON MY CARTRIDGES and replaced save batteries.
This console is priced apparent to my sentimental value for the system, its games of the era, and the skill and knowledge I gained by getting this thing to run… and it took me a good amount of energy to do so…
And my attachment to it because it is my main performer. So if you do decide to buy this machine it is because you are like me; eccentric enough to look past it’s appearance and are not just “collecting” something nostalgic but you are “playing extensively” the titles native to the device…
Price reflects my sentiment for it but I am taking offers
I have sold a few other consoles like a Sega Game Gear and IPS from Hispeedido, and another Sega Nomad and LCD TFT screen.
If I find more reasonably priced consoles in need of repair I will proceed to flip them because I believe in a retro gaming community.
