The 1887 Elgin Model 1 Grade 97 7J 18S 3OZ Bay City Coin Silver Pocket Watch is a vintage timepiece with a classic open face design and Roman numeral indices. Made in the United States, this hand-winding mechanical pocket watch features a 3 ounce coin silver case with a polished finish. With a Grade 97 style and key wind/key set features, this pocket watch is a unique and collectible piece for men who appreciate traditional craftsmanship and historical significance.

For your consideration is this 1887 Elgin National Watch Company Grade 97 pocket watch housed in a Bay City 3 ounce Coin Silver case that does have areas of design wear with some scratches and small dings/dents on the outer and inner case. The thick crystal does have some scratches on it. The dial is in decent shape with a few tiny chips on the outer edge.

This watch is 18 size and has 7 jewels.

This watch was able to be wound up and started to run but has not been timed or tested for accuracy. The service history of this watch is unknown and will need to be performed.
