The 1885 Elgin H.H. Taylor 5 Oz Coin Silver Grade 79 Model 1 15J 18S Pocket Watch is a vintage timepiece with a classic design that exudes a dressy/formal style. Featuring Roman numerals on a white dial and a polished silver case, this pocket watch comes with a 14-inch chain for easy carrying. With its mechanical key winding movement and 15 jewels, this Elgin pocket watch is a timeless piece that showcases the intricate craftsmanship of a bygone era. For your consideration is this 1885 Elgin H.H. Taylor Grade 79 pocket watch housed in a 5 Ounce Coin Silver Fahys Watch Case Co. case that does have some scratches and a few small nicks and design wear on it. The dial is in very nice condition with a small hairline crack above the 60 second mark as shown with the photos provided. This watch also comes with a 14 inch chain weighing over 76 grams. A few scratches on the crystal too. This watch is listed as railroad grade.

This watch is 18 size and has 15 jewels.

This watch was able to be wound up and started to run but has not been timed or tested for accuracy. The service history of this watch is unknown and will need to be performed.
