Vintage Oak Library Trolley - Large Book Tea Cart Shelving Bookcase - Solid Wood
Description
A vintage, large, heavy and well made, oak trolley with four tiers and raised gallery top. A practical and characterful piece, ideal for book storage, kitchen use, or as a mobile shelving unit in a study or retail space.
Constructed from solid oak with visible grain and warm tone throughout. The design features four open shelves with a raised lip to the top and sits on original castors for ease of movement. The construction is simple and robust, typical of utility or institutional furniture. Likely mid 20th century. Unsure of the exact age, but more than happy to help with any further questions.
Condition
In well used vintage condition.
Showing age and use with surface scratches, scuffs, marks, and wear throughout. Shelves show heavier wear and staining from use. Some knocks and edge wear to the frame. Castors show age and wear but remain functional. Solid and sturdy overall.
Would benefit from a good clean and polish, or ideal for refinishing
