"Inspired by a Canadian Military Officer boot, the Halkett is a Derby-style boot that sits above the ankle, and acts as a formal counterpart to our iconic Service Boot®. Like the Bastion Oxford, the Halkett features a tightly trimmed waist and heel that is created using a round blade that counters the shape of the last. Additionally, the Halkett features a narrow shaft and throat that allows for tight lacing - creating a clean and elegant profile."

These boots are made with Comipel horse butt, which is beautiful in depth of color and incredibly durable.

These were purchased from the 2023 Archive sale and do have some noticable flaws. Viberg claimed that loose grain would be the issue, but my boots came with a tear in the lining of the left boot as well as a pen(?) mark on the outer heel of the right boot. Both issues are shown.

I love these boots, and wish I could keep them, but they don't fit me well. Am pretty much a standard 6.5 in UK sizing, however these are a hair small.
