The PRS RockLady Limited Edition, limited to 690 units worldwide, is based on PRS Guitars' PRS Paul's Guitar and the Custom24-08 Limited Edition used by KANAMI, guitarist of the Japanese rock band BAND-MAID. This model was created as an homage to the guitar used by the protagonist, Ririsa Suzunomiya, in the anime "Rock is a Lady's Pastime."

The TCI S treble & bass pickups featured in this model were designed by PRS Guitars founder Paul Reed Smith himself, embodying PRS's years of accumulated pickup development expertise. Furthermore, the combination of a 3-way toggle switch and two mini-toggle switches for coil tapping allows for eight versatile sound variations, ranging from edgy, sparkling single-coil sounds to thick, warm tones reminiscent of soapbar pickups, suitable for a wide range of genres. The bridge features a PRS original design brass insert stoptail, contributing to a powerful and harmonically rich sound.

In terms of design, it faithfully reproduces Ririsa's guitar as much as possible, with a pearl pink body top, black headstock, natural body back, and specially prepared purple-toned pickup bobbins for this model. Unlike the model appearing in the anime, the fretboard features PRS's trademark bird inlays. Furthermore, as an homage to the work, the truss rod cover is adorned with a lily motif design.

The theme song for the anime "Rock wa Shukujo no Tashikomi de Shite" was written by BAND-MAID, the group to which KANAMI belongs. Based on the manga of the same name, the anime uses motion capture technology to digitize KANAMI's energetic playing style, directly reproducing her movements in the anime. The realistic and immersive performance scenes have garnered high praise from many music and anime fans. This model will be a must-have not only for fans of the anime, but also for KANAMI and PRS fans.

For the opening theme "Ready to Rock" of "Rock is a Lady's Pastime," I wanted to express the exhilaration of stepping onto the stage and unleashing one's full potential.
