The Sony STR-D711 is a versatile Audio/Video Control Center from the early 1990s, featuring built-in Dolby Pro Logic surround sound processing. This model represents the era of transition between traditional high-fidelity stereo and the emergence of home theater systems, providing dedicated outputs for front, center, and rear speakers. With its "Time Link" digital delay system and wide array of inputs, it served as a central hub for home entertainment setups during the early digital transition era.

Condition: This unit is sold strictly for parts or repair and is non-functional. The Master Volume knob is missing from the front panel, though the control shaft remains. The display window shows a visible scuff/scratch in the center. The exterior metal casing has moderate scratching and surface wear on the top and sides. The bottom chassis shows visible oxidation and corrosion along the edges. All other buttons and the balance knob are present. The power cord is attached and intact. Sold as-is.
