All functions work (recording, playback, speaker playback, etc). Comes with a 3rd party power source. Shows a few signs of use as shown in the closeups. At some point it had batteries inside that went bad and it was cleaned to the best of my capability. It can run on batteries, so no harm no foul. See closeups for more info.
