This is unique, better designed T8 Saab ECM Insulator Cooler Kit that modifies the location of your Engine Computer Module. NO ECM IS INCLUDED. There is evidence that these ECMs are failing mainly due to being mounted on the engine's hot, over 200*F intake manifold. This kit raises the module off the manifold with studded rubber bushings and an aluminum grid mounting plate and foil that increases the heat sink area substantially, insulation on the manifold and radiator hose, thus lowering the ECM temperature to near 140*F and also reduces engine vibration the ECM is exposed to. Makes sense not to bolt an already hot computer to something even hotter. And then cover it with a plastic heat trap.
Better than other kits because it gets the ECM as far as possible from the engine and its radiated heat plus the added aluminium heat sink. NO wiring changes except ground wire.
Kit comes with necessary hardware (spacers, bolts, ground wire, fiberglass, aluminum grid and foil, tie straps) and instructions to go topless and toss the plastic cover/heat trap in your garage. This will allow you or your shop to install in less than an hour. Have over 80 out there running and am happy with the lowered running and shutdown temperature reductions. This kit is great mod to help to extend the life of T8s that are becoming more difficult/expensive to find. There are NO "new" ones are available.

Beware of these being sold on Ebay and elsewhere. 2003 T8s only fit 2003 and will cause check engine if mounted in later years, the 55353231 for 04-06 are interchangeable, but problems can arise with ION units and the software difference between the S(little t) and Y (big T) motors. 07 and later (55565020) are generally interchangeable, but XWD cars have an extra wire to the T8 for the extra fuel gauge sender, so problems can arise there.
Can also program your replacement at your location except MY2011 cars.
