Rare vintage Peruvian religious folk art terracotta clay crucifix tabletop sculpture of Jesus on the cross, surrounded by figures of people and other elements. Handmade in Peru, with hand painted details, capturing the unique cultural traditions of the region. Measures about 12 inches in height. The piece is signed on the back. We say "rare" / unique because in our research we could not find another one like it. Exact vintage not known.
Condition note: There is a cactus on the back side that is missing 2 branches (see photo). This does not show from the front. No other flaws noted.
