This is a genuine Zipp 808 Firecrest carbon tubular rim — brand new, never built, never ridden. NOS condition. This is the rim only — no hub, no spokes, no tire. Perfect for a custom wheelbuilder, a replacement rim for an existing 808 build, or anyone who wants to lace their own hub into one of Zipp's most iconic aero rims.

CONDITION:
Brand new. Never built, never mounted, never ridden. The carbon structure is perfect — no cracks, chips, delamination, or damage of any kind. Spoke holes are clean and sharp. Brake track is untouched. Decals are bright and fully intact. This rim has simply been in storage.
IMPORTANT — BRAKE PAD NOTE:
This is a full carbon braking surface. You MUST use carbon-specific brake pads (Zipp Tangente or equivalent). Do NOT use standard aluminum brake pads on this rim — they will damage it.
WHY THE ZIPP 808 FIRECREST:
The 808 Firecrest is Zipp's deepest aero rim at 82mm — built for triathlon and time trial racing where speed is everything. The Firecrest cross-section and ABLC Sawtooth dimpling give it better crosswind stability than earlier deep-section designs.
