FRAME: 3-Bow, Round Tube. Tubing is 7/8" in diameter, brite-dipped anodized heavy wall aluminum. Double-walled main bow for added strength. The anodizing process treats the surface of the tubing to protect from oxidation and provide protection from the harsh marine environment. Aluminum is the chosen material for the frames as it has a high strength to weight ratio. Frame is designed as "knock-down" frame- meaning that the frame is made up of sections that snap together via double-sided snap buttons. All of our Tops come with Black nylon mounting hardware. (jaw slides, eye ends, deck mounts etc.) These fittings are high density, non-corrosive and offer good strength. -

MOUNTING: Our Bimini tops attach to the boat in 3 places on each side. The main mounting point is the deck hinge. In front and back of it (on each side) there will be hold down straps. Additional mounting hardware will be necessary (sold separately) and different sizing of the Bimini might be needed. -

SELECTING A BIMINI TOP FOR YOUR BOAT: -
When purchasing a Bimini top, you will need to know the exact Make, Model and Year of your boat and make sure it matches the title of the item listed or measure the boat for Bimini top needed, which can be purchased by size. There are 4 import factors to consider:

1. MOUNTING POINT. Determine what portion of your boat you want the top to cover. Mounting point will be the mid-point of your Bimini top’s length. Keep in mind that the mounting point you choose will impact the size of frame you need, the shade it will provide and which part of the boat will get shade. -
2. WIDTH: The width of the frame depends on mounting point. Mounting Points will be the mid point of your Bimini top’s length. Simply measure the widths between the points where you will be attaching Bimini top to the boat, measure across your boat from gunnel to gunnel (side to side). This is not the same as 'beam width' or boat width. Widths of the Bimini Tops are specified in increments of approximately 6"; since the aluminum frame has a degree of flexibility. Choose the width that most closely matches to your mounting point measurement. -
4. HEIGHT: Determine the primary use of the Bimini to select the proper height of the frame. 30"-36” frame is Low Profile. 46” frame is advised Universal use. 54” frame is for Walk-Thru / Standup purposes. Measure height straight from mounting point up while standing inside the boat to get a feel for how much room you will have once the Bimini is installed. Remember, you will have less shade as you go up in height. -
FRAME OPTIONS: -
BOWS: Bimini tops come in 2, 3 and 4 bow styles. This refers to the number of bows that make up the frame. The bows of the Bimini are the parts of the frame that go from side to side over the width of the boat. -
2 Bow Round Tube Bimini tops are the smallest and are for shorter Fishing boats, and Inflatables. We offer 2 bow Bimini tops in a height of 42" with a canvas 5'6" long.
3 Bow Round Tube Bimini tops are the most common Bimini ordered. Recommended for V-hull runabouts, ski boats, performance boats, and most center consoles. Most 3 bow Bimini tops are 6' in length.
4 Bow Bimini tops are the largest tops we offer. Recommended for a larger boat or a pontoon or deck boat. Canvases on 4 bow Bimini tops will be either 8', 9', or 10' in length. Available in Square tube or Round tube. Round Tube-7/8" in diameter Bimini frames are used for almost any boat. Square Tube- 1" in diameter 4 bow frames are for some pontoon or deck boats, to match the square railings. Square tube Bimini tops come with the option of having a light cut-out. -
WIDTHS: Bimini tops are available from 47” to 102” in width. -
HEIGHTS: We offer different frame heights to allow you to choose the best top to accommodate your required use. Heights available: 30", 35" that can be cut down to30", 36", 42", 46" that can be cut down to 36", 48", 54", 60" -

How easy is to remove the Bimini top once installed on the boat? The deck hinge (mounting bracket) uses a screw to attach the Bimini top to the boat. By replacing this screw with a quick release pin (sold separately), you can easily remove the Bimini. -
Can my Bimini top lay down flat and where will it land on my boat? When your Bimini is not in use, you can lay it down in either direction. Bimini top laid down will be approximately an addition of 20"-25" to the height of the bimini frame. This is because of the way that the metal bows nestle together. We offer optional Slide Assemblies to allow the bimini to be re-positioned (when folded down) either forward or to the stern from its normal mounting point when in use. -
How fast can I go when your Bimini top is deployed? Our Bimini tops can be used going at speeds of up to 35 MPH. If you would like to go faster with your top up, we recommend thru-bolting (Thru-bolting your top will allow you to go at speeds of up to 45 MPH with the top up), using stainless steel fittings and longer bolts. Do NOT trailer your boat with the Top up! -
Is this an OEM product, same as original Bimini top supplied by boat manufacturer? This is an aftermarket product. It will not be the exact sameBimini Top as the original (OEM).

Will this Bimini top be sent to me put together (pre-assembled)? Bimini tops are not sent fully assembled, they are partially assembled. All tops are sent with easy assembly instructions. While we do have the option of sending the tops fully assembled, an extra shipping charge is involved as the top will have to be sent on a truck (please contact us for shipping rates) -
How long will it take to receive my product? These items are made to order. Production takes 5-7 business days (lead times may increase during peak season) to manufacture, and then your Bimini top will ship to your door via UPS. -

The size listed for my boat is not the size I wanted. We recommend relying on your own dimensions (make sure to measure correctly). With the option for different mounting locations, it is likely that where we recommend you mount your top may be different from where you intend on mounting it. This is fine as the Bimini top can be mounted in different mounting location. Please contact us for other sizes we have available. -

I have a tower on my boat. How can I install a Bimini top without drilling into my tower? We offer Bimini tops for boats with towers. Those Bimini tops are made to mount to the tower itself. There are 2 types available: Bimini tops which are drilled into the tower and Bimini tops with clamps which will clamp onto the tower legs without any need to drill into your tower. -
Can I replace the fabric portion only on my Bimini top? As a rule, our Bimini top canvases will only work as replacements on frames that are made by the same manufacturer. |
