Krell KSA50 MKII stereo amplifier

Tested by local technician with a Cleo unit. Tests showed amplifier to be working properly(see photos)

Rubber feet had degraded they have been replaced.

Brass slotted screws have been replaced with brass hex screws for practical function and refined look.

Unit includes a standard 14–3 10 foot power cord.

Please examine photos closely there is a defect shown on the bottom of the unit in the form of two cracks around one of the fasteners. These cracks do not appear to have affected the structural integrity of the unit. Other aspects of the amplifier the front plate, top and rear are virtually flawless.

This unit has a blueish faceplate I am not sure of the origin or reason behind this variation from the traditional gray krell face plate plates.

I have owned this amplifier for several years and used it sparingly. I have often compared it to the Krell KMA 100 MKII mono amplifiers that I own, and my Krell KSA 100 MKII amplifier that I own and it has always held its own.

If you look this amplifier up and read the reviews and the history, you will find that this was a benchmark/landmark in amplifier development, viewed by some to still rival some of the best amplifiers produced today.

This is the Mark II version fan cooled unit with the under mounted fan circulating the air upwards through the heat sinks on which the output transistors are mounted.

Unit is double boxed with a shipping weight of about 70 pounds.
