Acoustic Alchemy - Natural Elements, vinyl LP 1988, on premium virgin vinyl

Here's another album from my personal collection, which has been well maintained over many years. Albums were often taped soon after purchase, for listening in the car, so it's possible that this vinyl has not been played more than a few times.

Special notes: Released under the MCA Records Master Series, this promotional copy was "custom pressed on KC 569 Blend Premium Virgin Vinyl" and has extremely low levels of surface noise. Two acoustic guitarists Nick Webb and Greg Carmichael are accompanied by other musicians in performing their own compositions, including one that continues to be used as the theme tune to BBC's Gardeners' World. The sound quality is superb, marred only by a slight click in track 2 on side 2, so grading at VG would be understating its general condition. The outer cover has some storage blemishes and a repaired tear at the back, otherwise good overall with original inner.

The vinyl has been ultrasonically cleaned and then play verified on a Systemdek IIX 900 turntable, fitted with a Audio Technica VM95ML cartridge.

Please examine the photos which show the state of both the vinyl and the cover artwork. Where appropriate, new inner sleeves have replaced the originals (which may still be included to maintain authenticity). If you have specific questions then please ask.

While the sound reproduction is still good it should be noted that the ultrasonic cleaning process does not eliminate all of the surface noise associated with vinyl records, especially given the age of them. But then you're not here for the noise, you're here for the music...
