Vintage 1991 Playskool PS-460 AM/FM Radio Cassette Recorder, commonly known as the “Rockin’ Robot” or “Mr. Mike.”
This model is widely recognized by collectors as the real-life Playskool toy associated with the Mr. Mike character seen in Disney Pixar’s Toy Story. The unit was manufactured in 1991, before the release of the original Toy Story movie, and is not later Toy Story-branded merchandise.
Testing results:
• Unit powers on when batteries are installed
• Attached microphone works
• Record button will not depress
• AM/FM radio did not receive a signal during testing
• Cassette playback, recording, and remaining functions have not been fully tested
