The Sansui 5900z AM/FM Digital Quartz Synthesizer DC Stereo Receiver is a vintage audio device manufactured in Japan by Sansui. With a power output of 75WPC, this unit features digital quartz synthesis for precise tuning and clear sound quality. Perfect for those who appreciate the craftsmanship and sound of vintage stereo receivers, this model offers a blend of classic design and modern technology for a unique listening experience.

Made in the early 1980’s. This Sansui 5900z receiver was tested on AM and FM with wire style antenna. Tunes on both very good. Channel memory works and can be set to any channel. I did not check phono or aux inputs. Both A and B speaker switches work. Gets pretty loud with the cheap Pioneer speakers that I used. (Pioneer speakers NOT included in auction). 75 watts per channel. Balance and tone controls work properly. Loudness function works. I did not test tape monitor as I do not have cassette player, should be OK…. All lights are functional. Vintage Sansui ad is included…..LOOKS AND WORKS VERY GOOD FOR BEING OVER 40 YEARS OLD…
