THE GOOD: This is a rare Compaq Socket 7 board featuring the highly sought-after ISA slot for retro sound cards and legacy hardware. It’s got the VIA MVP4 chipset and original Award BIOS still intact. If you saw my "PC Week" video, you know this came out of a 28-year-old machine.

THE BAD & THE UGLY: I’m being critically honest here: This board was in rough shape. It was pulled from a "compost bin" PC that was filled with leaves, dirt, and moisture. There is visible corrosion on several of the rear I/O connections and some surface grime that hasn't been deep-cleaned.

CONDITION: Untested / Sold strictly AS-IS for parts or repair. I haven't powered this up and I'm not going to. It’s a project for a pro restorer or a great source for rare donor chips like the BIOS and VIA controllers.
