VTG Zarebski Mexico Crucifix Crushed Malachite Aztec Mayan Wood Cross 11"
Original vintage, handmade crushed malachite and wood 11-inch cross by artist Michael Zarebski. Cross features the unique process of using crushed malachite mixed with resin, often referred to as greenstone. The cross is an example of Mid-Century Modern and brutalist aesthetics with its textural, raised design on wood. The carved elements were based on ancient Mexican civilizations. The cross was made in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico.
Very good used condition. 11 1/4-inch-tall Michael Zarebski Mexico crushed malachite crucifix wooden cross. Scratches to wood finish consistent with normal use and as shown in example photos. Cross weighs 12.1 oz before shipping materials.
