| Description -Serial #1662534 -Made Wetzlar, Germany 1959 -Leica M bayonet mount -M2/M4 version, no goggles -Focuses down to 0.7 meter -Silver Chrome finish -Dual scale feet/meter red/black focusing scale version with focusing tab This is a wonderful lens as it is the little brother to the famous 35mm f2 8 element. Looks identical but a fraction of the price for 1 F stop. Actually a great lens optically and some feel that having 6 elements over the 8 element F2 is a sharper, better lens ( less refractive light ) A fine lens, Great on a M2 or M4 but also working perfectly on all other M mount camera Undervalued and just a fantastic lens in every respect! This is an early example with the steel front rim and base M mount ring. The centre has the classic chrome satin finish Details -6 elements 4 groups -Aperture range: f2.8 - f22 -E39 filter mount -64° angle of view -Cat No. 11306 SIMOM Includes -Front lens cap Cosmetics 8+/10 -Some minor signs of use but overall nice No abuse, with faint use Mechanics 9/10 -Focusing is smooth -Aperture clicks are crisp Optics 9/10 -No fog, fungus, separation or scratches -Glass is clean and clear A very nice lens in many respects Great glass, value and very nice condition overall.
