For sale is a Pair of Genuine Open Box Altec 34647 matched aluminum diaphragms.  They look to be new but it is impossible to tell so we have listed as used.

Unit is in mint condition,  See pictures for details.

Comes from a collector, we have sold other Altec parts for and this is one of the nicest sets.

This is the Silver Wire Version (Earlier Production)

• ​Material: Pure Aluminum Ribbon

• ​Characteristics: Pure aluminum is incredibly lightweight. Because it lacks a copper cladding, it looks entirely silver/metallic.

• ​Sonic Profile: The lower moving mass gives these earlier diaphragms lightning-fast transient response and a highly extended, airy top-end frequency response. However, pure aluminum ribbon is incredibly delicate, making it more prone to thermal fatigue or burning out under heavy power.
