Jupiter-9 MC 85mm F2 Manual Focus Prime Lens Spares or Repair

We have tested this lens and found the following fault:

Mechanical Condition - Spares or Repairs

The lens does not focus correctly, the manual focus rotates but does not engage, there is oil on the blades, and aperture blades are sluggish.  Due to this we are describing this item as FAULTY / SPARES / REPAIRS.

We have not tested any further once we have found this fault, so we cannot state with certainty if there are other faults.

Optics Condition -  Excellent

The lens coating is in excellent condition and reduces ghost and flare issues.

The optics are clean and the lens is pin sharp.  There are no exterior marks / scratches on the glass, nor any fungus / growth within the inner elements

Cosmetic Condition - Very Good

The rubbers are in excellent condition and not slack, discoloured or sticky ensuring the lens is nice to handle and operate.

The exterior casing is in very good condition, just some cosmetic marks and some paint loss, these do not affect performance of the lens or images captured

The lettering and model specification markings are clear and not faded
