In the 1980s, Energizer introduced the E91 Tester Strip that was the first tester to ever be actually attached to the battedy itself for convenience. These mugs were never sold to the public to my knowledge. We had a family member who was an engineer for Union Carbide, then Everedy, then eventually Energizer as the company evolved. These are collector's items and are extremely rare. This is the first pair that I have seen still in great shape.
