The Locust Field Terminal and Speaker (RF-7980-S1001) is designed for use with the AN/PRC-117G, AN/PRC-152A, AN/PRC-160, RF-7800H-MP, RF-7850M, RF-7800M-HH, RF-7800M-MP, RF-7850S and RF-7800V.

DESCRIPTION:

The L3Harris Locust provides audio, call tone generation and detection via field wire, and radio traffic through a standard 6-pin ADF connector.

This compact, interoperable solution features an integrated speaker for clear, loud audio, allowing users to monitor radios with or without headset. Locust provides top performance in Point-To-Point and mixed networks and supports remote radio audio when two or more locusts are used.
