Description: This is an authentic "Type 98" (Kyuhachi-shiki) winter wool field tunic belonging to a Sergeant Major of the Kempeitai (Imperial Japanese Military Police). Inside the tunic, the original official inspection stamps (Kentei-in) are clearly visible, dated "Showa 16" (1941), proving its wartime production. It is marked as a "Size 6" and was inspected at the Hiroshima Depot (廣支検定). This uniform comes complete with original, high-quality Sergeant Major woven collar tabs and a Kempeitai service badge. It also features a rare 2-tier, 5-ribbon bar (Ryaku-ju) including:
