WW2 REPLICA RATION D BAR

This bar however we are pleased to add tastes a lot nicer than the one issued to the America soldiers, as it was designed to save a soldier from hunger, but it was deemed that if it tasted too nice, the soldier would eat it too quickly, rendering the survival rationing useless. There are many accounts of GI's chipping away at their ration block, and melting it in hot water or milk. But they complained it still didn't taste great.

This bar we are pleased to say is made as it was but we have added more chocolate. It still will possess a heavy flavour as it made from Oats, but it is fabulous with a cup of tea

This is a Historically accurate wartime Chocolate Bar.

Perfect for re-enactment, historical or nostalgia. Fantastic completely Edible replica of how American soldiers chocolate tasted in 1941.

We have been able to recreate this flavour through meticulous research and personal family letters of the age
