Ivory/Cream dupion silk Wedding Dress , app.size 10, long sleeves, bustle, train

Impeccable craftsmanship - designed and made by Renaissance in Derby with a soft but structured bustle , scoop neck, soft leg of mutton sleeves and a double tiered net petticoat underneath.  Five button sleeve fastening, with sixteen button back fastening.

Dress is approx size 10  to fit ;  Bust - 34 in 

                                                  Waist - 28 in  

                                                  Underarm length - 37 in

Length ;   Front - from the bottom of the neckline  -  58 in

                Back -  approx 60 in

Train ;      Approx - 74 in -  from the waist over the bustle, to the edge of the train.

Dress has been in storage for 35 years , and is now an ivory/cream / pale champagne colour . It has retained its highly lustrous surface and crispness accorded to this luxury fabric.

 There is some staining under the arms, and in a few places around the bottom on the front. This looks like it is from drink being spilled, also some confetti must have been caught up when put away as there are two green patches and a small pink one. There is also a tiny burn on the back . The antique lace around the bottom has discoloured ( originally ivory) , also the lining stitching around the bottom,  all due to being in storage for a long period of time.

Aside from the above , the overall condition is very good ,no workmanship or silk quality issues , it just needs a good dry clean .
